LOVE HAS NO BOUNDRIES

"What is this thing they call love". This is a quote from one of my favorite movies, How I Married a Axe Murderer. Mike Myers is in a San Francisco coffee club preforming a recital of his own poem and he begins with this line. How long has this subject been spoken and written about? How far in history has mankind invested time and energy on this subject? How many words have been put to ink about this intangible yet so powerful "thing" and in how many different mediums? Since we are social beings, you tell me. When you look across the ocean and think about the volume of water before you, it doesn't even come close to containing the power that LOVE has or when you look up in the night sky and see the vast darkness and openness before you, nope it couldn't hold it either. For love has no boundaries, it's power reaches all corners of infinity and there will never be too many words or energy exhausted on it.
In my 29 years in my previous career dealing with human behavior one of the many revelations of life I came upon this that there are THREE emotions all seeing and all powerful. FEAR; if you are in constant fear you are already dead and just prolonging the pain and suffering. You might as well eat the bullet now and get it over with. Loneliness; The joy, happiness and absolute euphoria that love provides, loneliness does the apposite. It will turn men into women, and women into men, (sorry about the gay thing I still think it is an unnatural act). It will move mountains, bring down empires, make war and destroy all that is good on this earth and beyond. I have witnessed the power of this emotions in dealing with homosexual crimes, crimes of passion, pedophiles, addictive personalities, sexual abuse and other deviate behavior. It is not the reflection of the dark side I want to remember for it will debase all that is pure and virtuous. And LOVE; Do I have to say anything about this emotion that hasn't already been said or written about? Probably not, for those of you that are reading this you can close your eyes for a second and a million thoughts good and bad will race through your mind about this emotion. I can tell you this my friends, If you have it never take it for-granted, never assume it, never think you can do without it, never abuse it, never think it is automatic, never cheat it or try and trick it. Enjoy and appreciate every moment and ounce of it, express it openly for it is our being, our existence, it is the blood that gives us life and the heart that beats within us body and soul.
I will end this episode with this famous quote on this matter,
"Neither a lofty degree of intelligence nor imagination nor both together go to the making of genius. Love, love, love, that is the soul of genius."

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
